A woodland image from one of many visits to the “Lakes”. The photo from The Lake District currently decorate my desktop even though we are well into January an the image was captured in October.
I like the read pine leaves on the ground with the roots spreading from the tree. The image was captures very late in the afternoon just before the sun were setting so the rich texture and details is a results of the very soft and gentle light. A nice and calm photo!
I’ve just returned from a trip to the high land but will have to use a few day to sort and edit the images from that trip – so until then I will post some images from previous trips.
