I found this Kidney vetch (Anthyllis vulneraria) on the hunt for the Edmondston chickweed in the serpentine debrief on Unst, Shetland. The Kedney vetch is often found close to the coast with very variable colors although those found on the Keen are an unusual, lemon-yellow.
The Kidney vetch was photographed at the Keen of Hamar national nature reserve on Shetland Isles. I used the Canon 5D Mark II and the 180mm f/3.5 macro lens on the Gitzo tripod. I like how the saturated colors of the plant contrast the brownish serpentine debris and rocks around the landscape.
Enjoy the photo.
