The panoramic image of Scotland’s Native Pinewoods was stitched from seven images.
Black & White Woodland
The image black & white woodland is a panoramic photo combined from five images captured with the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L Zoom lens.
Understand exposure and venture out of auto mode
Three basic settings on your camera sets the exposure. You need to understand these if you want to venture out of the auto mode on your camera and become a better photographer.
Winter at the Black Cuillin
Winter at Black Cullin, Scotland. Captured with the Canon 5D Mark II and the 70-200mm f/2.8L lens – who said a good zoom would not be good for landscapes.
Black & White River
With the camera you often stop the motion in a fraction of a second but extending the exposure time (shutter speed) you can improve the way we see the movement.
Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM
The Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6L IS USM Zoom lens is a great lens! I don’t own this lens but have tried it – if used right it takes very high quality images.
Larch trees
The photograph was captured while moving the camera horizontal while taking the image to make a more blurry and abstract photo of the larch forest.
The Leaves are Gone
Black & White image of old tree captured with the Canon 5D Mark II and the Canon 70-200m f/2.8 zoom lens.
Trees from the Lakes
The photo from The Lake District currently decorate my desktop even though we are well into January an the image was captured in October.
