I’ve had another visit to the Crowns mine near Botallack in Cornwall and compared to last time the weather was really behaving well.
Another image of Wheal mine near Saint Agnes. I’ve desaturated the image to add some atmosphere and an illusion of being back in the good old days.
The Scilla verna commonly known as spring squill is small so it was great to bring on the Canon 180mm f/3.5 Macro lens and get really close.
I’ve just put together some images from a beach in Wales – the images originate on a beautiful morning at the beach.
I wanted to focus on the interesting rock formations pointing our of the sea so I grabbed the big Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 IS zoom lens and mounted it on the Canon 5D Mark II.
The above image is captured in the morning shooting against the sun which makes hard contrasts and some gentle light rays through the skies.

Spending a day photographing rocks and stones at Marloes Sands in Wales is a meditative experience.
Pentre Ifan contains the largest and best preserved neolithic dolmen in Wales and since entrence is free we decided to explore it and have a go with the camera.
Here is another image of the Welsh coast I want to share. I simply fantastic to travel along the coast of wales one cliff after another intersected by small beaches and ports.
The coast of Wales is beautiful – just as I had expected. We have enjoyed so much beautiful scenery here along the coast its really amazing.
